Features/Product Advantages
The FAG series submersible sewage pumps feature a unique design that ensures high operational stability and prevents unexpected failures in harsh working environments.
Combines high performance with excellent cost-effectiveness.
Construction
Submersible pumps for light sewage; suitable for portable underwater installation or automatic coupling installation.
Applications
The FAG series is ideal for transporting wastewater, sewage, surface water, and clean water in municipal, construction, and select industrial sectors.
Equipment/Functions
Overheat protection: Pumps with power ≤4 kW feature built-in bimetallic temperature sensors; pumps with power ≥5.5 kW come standard with PTC thermistors.
Leakage protection: Pumps with power ≥5.5 kW are equipped with leakage sensors in both the motor chamber and the oil chamber to detect liquid ingress. The oil chamber sensor triggers an alarm if excessive external fluid enters the chamber, preventing intrusion into the motor. If the oil chamber sensor fails and external fluid reaches the motor, the motor chamber sensor triggers an alarm and shuts down the pump to protect the motor from moisture damage and burnout.
Protection against phase loss, overload, undervoltage, and short circuits is provided via the control cabinet.

Type
Closed Impeller
The pump is equipped with a closed impeller, suitable for a wide range of drainage applications in construction and industry. The impeller is primarily made of cast iron, ensuring reliable performance and an extended service life. For pumps with power ≤7.5 kW, an optional cutter device is available; made of high-chromium stainless steel, this device shreds long fibers and elongated solid debris to prevent pump clogging.
Short Shaft Design
The short shaft design significantly minimizes shaft deflection, thereby extending the service life of seals and bearings while ensuring low-vibration and quiet operation. Heavy-duty ball bearings
High-quality, maintenance-free (lubricated-for-life) bearings are used; all ball bearings are pre-lubricated to ensure no further lubrication is required during their service life.
Double shaft seal system
A double shaft seal system located within the oil chamber ensures reliable operation of the pump.
Cooling system
For pumps with a power rating of ≥11 kW, a motor with an integrated water circulation cooling system is available as an option, allowing for dry installation or operation at very low water levels.

Duty type: S1
Equipment intended for conveying standard untreated water and wastewater;
During operation, no more than half of the motor may be exposed above the liquid level. For pumps rated above 30 kW, the motor is permitted to operate with a portion exposed above the water level for extended periods, provided the pump operates above the minimum permissible water level;
Maximum density of the pumped medium: 1050 kg/m³;
Maximum kinematic viscosity of the pumped medium: 1 × 10⁻⁶ m²/s;
pH value of the medium: 6–9;
Maximum temperature of the pumped medium: 40°C;
Maximum diameter of suspended particles must be within the pump's solids-handling capacity; if the medium contains flexible fibers, the maximum allowable fiber length ranges from 25 mm to 400 mm (depending on the specific pump model); a trash screen should be installed at the wastewater inlet to filter out coarse debris.
